The Big WWE Wrestling Thread

The rock on raw was awesome!!

Wasnt expecting him to actually turn up tonight but he did a 20+ minute promo and ripped into Cena!

Best moment on raw for years was like the good old days.

It overran for quite a bit though sky+ people might be cut off.

Ah the wwe is still so predictable, The Rock talking about Cena and The Miz the way he did means only one thing; The Miz v John Cena as the main event with The Rock counting the 3 count and raising Cena's arm at the end of the show for one of those iconic Wrestlemania moments

Still was better than most Raw's these days, having looked back through some of my old WWE DVD's it really hasn't been even half the product since the year 2000. The period of 1998-early 2001 still the best time ever for wrestling

Rock back for good? As a wrestler? Cena vs Rock at Mania? what?

Just watched raw and the Rock's promo was the best thing in wrestling in years. Can't believe its been 7 years since the last time Rocky has been on Raw.

Hope The Rock features on every Raw building up to Raw. Can't wait till WM to see The Rock again.

Best pop I've heard for ages. The Rock hasn't lost it at all.

Loved it when he had a little smile at the ovation then realised he best go back to Rock mode.

Brilliant to finally see The Rock back in the WWE. WrestleMania just got a whole lot more PPV buys! No one promos like The Rock and yesterday's RAW was a prime example. The show started off with a terrible Cena promo and ended with possibly the best talker in the business, if not EVER, blowing the roof off a WWE event like it hasn't been for a VERY long time!

So when he promises he's never going away, does that mean he'll be around after Wrestlemania too?

Possible long term role in WWE? Would fit nicely with his induction in to the HoF next year in his home town in Miami

From what I've seen posted on Gerweck, Undertaker v Triple H in a streak v career match seems to be what will happen. If that does happen, I can't see Triple H winning. He isn't the person who should win against Undertaker, and it would be a good way for him to retire and properly go to working a bit more backstage.

[conspiracy theory]Nope. That job of 'retiring' the undertaker is going to go to STING. (that's if what I read about him signing a WWE contract is true)[/conspiracy theory] :o

That's a dead runner now, since the 2-21-11 promo's turned out to be regarding the Undertakers return rather than Sting signing

Odds on it being Taker v Triple H with HBK as the ref, not sure about the Streak v Career stipulation though...

I thought HHH was looking to retire soon anyway so it could well happen. Who else in the current roster is going to retire him?
