Gigabyte returns form

nice to see Gigabyte UK clearing up any confusion over the defective chip issue, would be nice if ASUS UK would pull there finger out as well & clear up any confusion.

That is good news and totally the right way to go of course.

Does the following passage mean that they (e.g., OcUK) will send out a new mobo before you have to send back the old one?

"Once the new motherboards are available in the store where you originally purchased your product, the re-seller will contact you informing you that your replacement is ready"

I bought a GB P67 UD3 about a month ago - should I fill out the Gigabyte form above or email OC.co.uk about the issue?

Is there any word on how long they expect the SATAII ports to last before they fail? I have quite a hefty GPU (in terms of physical size) which makes plugging into SATA III a bit of a pain.

I think we're filling in the form. There's a tick box which give Gigabyte concent for them to contact OCuk.

I know Gibbo was trying to talk Gigabyte out of this procedure, Gibbo any comments?
