Hitboxes were always fine, it was the detection that was a little flaky and it still is and you do sometimes hear a ping on someone's head and not have it register and sometimes you notice bullets ping off your head too but the majority of the time I'd say the failing was with the players aim rather than the detection

Apart from the knife, that is truly screwed.

Been playing with svu with normal scope and i find it's good for close range and long range + with c4 i go on full attack mode

Only time i would camp to snipe is to take out good snipers that are camping.

Same, I quickly realised that I was crap and gave up with the recon class.

I've gone up a few levels recently and have unlocked the M14 and G3 which are both fairly accurate. So I just use these with a 4x scope now. Much more fun I think!

i love it when i sneak around the back on rush and then just stab any snipers i see, took 4 out in one run without firing a bullet.

i use my fav combo...

Assault class, lightweight kit (for speed) shotgun and c4, with the ammo crates you can just c4 until yours hearts content

i don't always go for the mcom, but rather mop up any snipers and blowup tanks

C4 doesn't appear to show up on my kit selection, not sure why. I think i'm going to drop the 4x Scope and go with the Lightweight Kit, as i keep getting killed when i decide to scope in to shoot someone because i can't see what's around me once i've scoped in.

yeah a shotgun and unlimited c4 + speed perk can be a better stealth option to a wookie, if your sneaky you can hang around and do a lot of damage, yesterday i c4'ed the two defenders tanks and our 3 just rolled in. i then ran around checking the buildings for snipers, before getting a RPG to the head

yeah a shotgun and unlimited c4 + speed perk can be a better stealth option to a wookie, if your sneaky you can hang around and do a lot of damage, yesterday i c4'ed the two defenders tanks and our 3 just rolled in. i then ran around checking the buildings for snipers, before getting a RPG to the head

that works too.. i enjoy just hanging around there base and causing trouble while my team attack, sort of like an inside man... the speed perk helps... leg it upstairs turn and face.... BANG shotguN!

Unless you use an autoshotgun though you'd be at a real disadvantage, the regular shotguns are unusuable without Slugs since the range is just so short.

lol with just magnum you can still kill from silly range with them.

Not reliably though. Unusable was a strong word, but its not as certain a kill as with slugs. I dunno, its been a while since i really used a pump shotgun without slugs but i don't recall it being that effective by comparison.

It's not as nice as with slugs but it's surprising how well it does actually. I played around with it a while back and was shocked that it didn't suck completely

its fine, i have 2500kills with the neostead just using regulars slugs, with the speed perk that is often over looked you can approach the enemy at speed

Do you play a lot of rush or something?

I play on the SAS (not beer drinker server) which limits 3 snipers per side very nice.

Rush will obviously be camper heaven otherwise whats the point of defending.

Join a conquest its more about get a flag lose a flag get the flag you lost lol

I play both, more so Conquest, but the past two days of gaming has been full of camping 4x Optic classes not going for the flag or the M-COM, or even disarming the M-COM, really starting to annoy me as well as useless teams that huddle like sheep.
