asus pro bios 1302 update

trying this on the pro, my cpu seems to run at full pelt , ie not throttling down, hmmm

- Improved USB performance, Improved P67 XMP profile compatibility (please note, memory with X58/P55 XMP profiles will generally work but is not optimized for P67 and will usually cause problems when overclocking in several cases)

- Minor Bug Fixes including new Auto Rules for C-States (C3/C6) when overclocking.
 
Just flashed to this new bios np and im sure my car feels better to drive in iracing so maybe some usb improvement done im not sure but feels a little different to drive now.
 
Hopefully this will help sort out some annoying idle BSODs i'm still getting.

Its ridiculous that i can run the chip 24 hrs straight under 100% load at 1.31v 4.5ghz but at idle it can crap out at any moment.
 
Im going to wait for it to appear on Asus's website. My boards running smooth at the moment and dont want to ruin it with a Beta Bios with no support.

1302 wont appear on Asus web,since its Beta,but next one - 1304,will be fully supported and official.
If somebody using usb mouse&keyboard,did they still drifting with 1302?
 
cool - will give this a shout

is there a general issue btw if and when i OC using the suite in windows ( stable under load) then shut down the pc. when i boot up the machine powers on then powers down very quickly then powers on again and then says OC failed and goes into BIOS. where the settings are still the same.

cleary the OC has failed but how do you explain the cycles of powering up and down please ?
 
I never used programs like Suite or similar for OC - for me best way to OC'ing cpu is in bios...And this AI Suite have problems with compatibility - Asus said they gonna fix it in next AI Suite update.
Im using P8P67 Pro with 1204 bios and yet to have ANY problems - stable as rock (exept my adventure to OC 2600K on stock vcore to 4.6ghz :D )
Also,my old M$ usb mouse and keyboard drifting in bios - thats all problems i have.
Would like to know if 1302 bios fixed drifting...

Asus man told,that this bios should be soon on they website.Interesting,its just few days after 1302 release

what do you mean on stock vcore?

Unless you put in a manual voltage the chip will ask for more voltage as you ramp the frequency up. If I set it at offset + or - at stock speeds then it wants something like 1.3v, if i clock it to 4.5 still using offset + or - it demands 1.5.
