Hey, so I preordered the Gigabyte Super Overclocked 560Ti two weeks ago and it's finally arrived. I'd thought I would share pictures of unpacking and installation
Here is the box - Shiny and ubercool looking:
Its sitting in front of my Samsung P2450H and an Antec 300 case which has dust trapped in the filter
A closer view:
Inside the box is errr... another box:
Inside that box is my pretty card:
The card also came with:
1x mini-HDMI to HDMI cable
1x DVI-D to RGB Adapter
2x Molex to PCI-E Adapter
1x Driver Disc and Installation Manual
Here is my PC before installation:
The specs are in my signature
Removed my old His ATI Radeon 5770 and compared it against the GTX 560Ti:
Installed into my Antec 300:
Hooked it up to my PSU (Antec TruePower 650W):
Up and running with latest drivers
It is so much quieter than the 5770 which was a pain in the arse when playing games. Plus it runs cooler! My 5770 use to idle at 49C and whilst on load it would hit 69-70, whereas the 560 idles at 29C and at load its 56C.
I've only played Mass Effect 2. I haven't seen what its like on other games yet.
