How often do you service your car?

the van, every 4 months, or 10,000 miles whichever is sooner,
The s14a, every 5,000 miles or 6 months whichever is sooner.

all normal consumables changed etc
 
I do oil, oil filter & air filter myself every 8k or so in my van which works out at every 6 months or so - the factory interval is 20k! I just don't like leaving oil in an engine for very long, I start itching to change it after a while.

Fully synthetic always gets used as I tend to drive it hard and sometimes when not up to temperature, anything to keep the turbo good. Air filter gets changed at the same time (I think the interval is every 40k or something!) as it starts to get smokey when pressing on and there is more than a fair bit of dirt in the filter after 8k. There is no smoke whatsoever with a fresh filter, even at night with following headlights.
 
Mines is coming up to the 12k mark and needs it pretty badly, trouble is I can't find a cheap enough service centre or garage. Last one cost me £140 for an annual service at what I presumed was a cheaper garage, the service carried out was never worth that considering there wasn't any repairs. It's a 1.2, not much in it for £140, tbh.
 
I do a lot of miles so I change oil, coolant and filters myself every 5,000 miles, then have a full brake fluid flush and strip down/checkover done by a specialist every 12-15000 miles.

what do you drive?
 
Whenever I can get the enthusiasm up to do it. Normally try for an oil and filter change each year everything else is done as the opportunity presents.
 
Generally try for every 6 months depending on what mileage I cover in the Subaru. The Peugeot on the other hand I stick to the service indicator :)
 
Oil and filter annually, do an oil change between too as I get it very cheap. Rest of the filters I plan to do once every 2 years. Check up whilst I do them.
