I was actually watching this live, and at the time, we just thought she was taking the michael and laughed at it. It wasnt until the following morning, other news channels were saying she had a stroke, and watched it back. Its pretty terrifying, as about half way through, you can see the look in her eyes where she almost realises she isnt saying what she thinks she is saying.

Took me a while to post it up, as CBS kept taking all the videos down of it online. CBS are saying she is fine, and she is saying it was just nerves...

Either way...always worrying!

Wow that sounded really bad. I cant imagine how it must feel to be able to speak normally one second and then seconds later sound like, in fairness, an utter drivelling fool.

I'm really lost for words on this....

An ABC Reporter supposedly suffers a stroke live on air... so what better way to treat your colleague than to make it a news story so that it can be repeated over around the world..

To further add to this silly news report, they don't even know what her condition is or whether it's a stroke!

Ridiculous... it could be anything that's wrong with her... even just a case of nerves.

ABC isn't CBS.

She would seem to have expressive dysphasia, which can be a symptom of a stroke, but it wont be a big one if thats the only affect its had, theyre are other causes too obviously. Basically we cant do much except speculate, but she doesnt look very old, would be strange for her to have a stroke, unless theres something odd going on.

She was examined by medics at the time - she didn't have a stroke - - there isn't any need for speculation at all - she's simply incompetent as a reporter.

TBH unless she got better or had some imaging no medic can tell you shes not had a stroke on a clinical basis. And since no one has said either of those its possible, unless they have in which case ill happily go along with that, but noones posted that that I saw.

Ah yes...this must be it! Im sure its her complete incompetence that got her the job at CBS in the first place.

From what I understand, she was taken to a local hospital who cleared her of having a stroke. Thankfully Im sure...however...that doesnt mean that there wasnt something else going on here, whether serious or not.

I hope if it ever happens to you, people dont just tell you to get back on with your job and stop being so incompetent.
