Teacher doesn't like smelling children, gets banned.

No, if my child was in a Bangladesh school I would support their culture and way of life not flaunt it thinking its ok to send children to school smelling. Clean Hygiene is simple human trait of the western world.

Smelling of curry doesn't indicate poor hygiene. The spices in their diet are the cause, they do not notice it due to olfactory saturation.

Many Asians think we smell of sour milk, due to high dairy/meat diets.

The ingrained habit of good hygiene was widespread in the Islamic world when we still dumping effluent out of the window and into our water supplies.

It's a nonsense strawman.

I am saying this is not acceptable.

Your wife says I don't know what I'm talking about.

DM. Grow up moron. Your 40-50 something for christ sake.

It's you that needs to grow up.
It is 100% not acceptable but rules are rules and as Castiel pointed out policies are different all over the country and even from school to school in the same town.
My wife could move to a school 2 miles up the road and there she would be able to clean the child but at her school she can't.
Why you are having a problem with this and being argumentative is beyond me.
And no need for insults when what I'm telling you is the truth.

Right, well eventially we get there don't we.

You aren't telling me the truth, you've now finally switched it all around to agree...

That is no justification for pish covered children having to stand on a specific spot infront of classmates until something can be rectified. That is humiliating.

So I do have a clue then after all.

Biohazard said:
It clearly isn't normal policy for a teacher to do that.

Again, it is not normal policy. Nothing like it. And since you seem so intent in dragging in others I will also self indulge, Castiel said so.. so hahahha?

Is that how it works?

What I said is totally right, and as usual I've had to drag your sorry obnoxious misconstruing trolling ass through it all again. Woo hoo for repetitiveness.

to be fair asian kids and mothers usually reek of curry

????

Yeah and Geordies tend to smell of black pudding...

I'm sure every Asian kid has an extra spicy vindaloo curry for tea every night to the point where they reek of the stuff daily....

Tbh.. even if some kids do eat traditional Bangladeshi dishes mostly they're not necessarily going to smell of the stuff that much.

Oi, dinny be starting on the black puddin.

Us Scots must ******* reek to them :D

Teachers should be allowed to change children if they wet themselves at school. WTF is the world coming to if we think they shouldn't be allowed to do that.

In light of recent revelations I'd be more concerned about lack of unified policy. There is no justification in second rate service or worse.

Another thing though, is there isnt anything for them to change into a lot of the time. But, even then this whole 'teacher' change thing doesn't really matter. A significant number of children are able to if not totally dress themself independently at that age at least pull trousers up and down etc.

I said from the start that Mrs Poole would love to be able to clean the children but you missed that part.
I've switched absolutely nothing around, I just told you how it was at my wife's school and how it will be at some other schools but you had to be argumentative.
There is absolutely no reason at all in a humane society to let a child stand there soiled but I was just telling you how it is in some parts of the country.
You've won nothing, you just didn't listen the first time and instead got on your high horse.
Go and read what I wrote and then come back and apologise for your insults.

Lol!! This is the most funniest comment I have ever read:p.

Do you know how many times I have seen men in this country leaving public toilets without washing their hands.

I agree with castiel that cleanliness is heavily emphasised in muslims countries especially personal hygiene aswell as in other cultures. The spices odour emanating is due to the consumption of spices food which is an integral part of asian/eastern cuisine and is now making it's way into western foods, and has nothing to do with cleaniness.

Samething with an alcoholic person and the smell of alcohol emanating from him.

Chill pills all round methinks.

Biohazard is right, in that those types of policy are nonsense and should be changed.

Dmpoole is right in that some schools have those policies and as a teacher his wife is powerless to act differently.

The problem lies with the Policy, not the teacher in dmpoole's example.

However, the OP example is somewhat different as the Teacher's actions were contrary to school policy and she was to all intent and purpose bullying children of a specific ethnicity (although racism wasn't proven).

Either way the teacher in the OP deserves to be censured for her actions, and a more wide-ranging re-evaluation of national school guidelines needs to be assessed.

You are a middle aged troll for heavens sake, get a life.

You can't stand by any one positition longer than a french soldier :D

I thought this was typical BS of the socialist education system. If it was private she would have got fired (if they were unhappy with her) and she could still get a job as a teacher some where else, if they wanted to hire her. But in this system they completely destroy your career over the most silly of things.

When i was in school teachers did much worse things, threw board dusters at us, completely humiliated us and all sorts of things. What this teacher did was nothing serious and the moaning parents should be ashamed of how pathetic they are.

Not being funny but just because teachers got away with this stuff in the past doesn't mean they should these days - we also had a teacher who launched board dusters around and a physics teacher who launched a globe at some kids head for not paying attention.

But to single out all the brown kids and essentially be saying 'they're different, they smell' etc.. is going to have some potentially nasty side effects - first experience for the Bangladeshi kids of someone in authority bullying them due to their background. Worse still its almost making it acceptable for the other kids in the class to essentially get the idea int hier head that 'pakis smell' etc..

No she never singled out the curry munchers, i saw a white boy and a white mom in the metro with sad looks on their faces because her son had been told he smells or she did something that she was not happy with.

If i was a teacher in a class of smelly indian children i would tell their parents to stop sending their children to school smelling like curry. I smell it on the train, i don't understand how some one can actually smell like curry, unless they rub curry powder on their bodies.

You wish.

Read above, I'm not repeating it there is nothing more to say.

Because you don't know.

You said

"It is not right to stand children at the side of the class on newspaper because they have wet themself".

Where did I disagree with that?
Go on, give me a link but you can't.
All I posted was that my wife wasn't allowed to clean children even though she would be happy to.
It's you who decided to make your own story up.

You then said

"Teachers can leave children alone for a short period if there is enough reason too, or more frequently they would send another child to where ever with a message for another member of staff".

Not in Mrs Poole's case. Her class is full of 5 to 7 year old special children (trying to be PC) and instead she has to ring reception.
There is no way Mrs Poole could send one of her children with a note because they wouldn't get there, they would be lost outside the door.
Once again you flew off the handle.

You then said

"Thinking that standing kids covered in pish on newspaper infront of their peers is acceptable clearly is wrong".

Once again who disagreed with you?
Can you give a link to this imaginary response?

Now stop trolling or read the thread properly.

Jeez.....are you for real.....

People like you are why I would support a Eugenics Program....:p
