Could anyone identify the make/model of this car?

It plunged 30 metres down a cliff face yesterday while a 16 year old boy was driving it, and I'm curious what make/model it might be.

My guess (though Alex knows as he's about 2m away from me) is that it's an old Subary Legacy or possibly a Mazda 626 estate, tough one..

Definitely not a 400 estate, and I don't think it's a Montego.

Well it looks like a 7 seater due to how the belts are showing in the back windows, any ideas?

Only thing I can think of, with some local knowledge, is that there aren't many Montego estates in Gib, handful left at best. Few more Legacy's.

Hard to work out down to the battering of the bodywork, no tailights, no wheel trims or owt.

Filler cap looks too far back for a montego.

Pretty sure it's a old Legacy also. The pillar on the angle where the rear quarter windows sits points very much towards it being one.
