Anyone heard much about these cards? OCUK used to have them in the shop online but I can't see them any more. Were they stopped or just ran out of stock?

Not all GTX 560s reach 1 Ghz, some will only go up to around 950 mhz.

1 Ghz factory overclock is very ambitious for the GTX 560, the most that other manufacturers are going up to is around 950 Mhz.

Better to just get the gigabyte 900 Mhz one, or the MSI 880 Mhz one, hope for luck and overclock yourself. Even at 900 Mhz they are still superfast cards.

The Gigabyte GTX560TI SOC is not available in large numbers and tends to sell out quickly. A few retailers will have stock in the next few weeks AFAIK and the card will cost around £220 to £230. Supposedly,Gigabyte uses better chips for these cards.

Gigabyte apparently test each card and the better ones are hand picked for the OC and SOC ranges

As for availability they cant meet demand and they've been removed i'd imagine whilst back orders are filled

they look great imo and the fact is that they put the 480 to bed is a real draw to buy one

I think the 480 is the better deal to be honest.
The 560 may overclock to 570/480 speeds but a 480 can easy overclock past 580 speeds. Got mine at 860mhz core on stock volts from 700mhz. People say 820mhz is enough to give 580 speeds
