HD 2600XT (or pro) - equivalent card today?

Really, as good as that? - didnt realise. Its a mates pc and the gfx card has gone feet up. Pc is mostly used for video editing, using pinnacle studio 14 which I believe uses the cpu more than anything. Just wondering what its worth spending on a new card.
I'm not certain but I'd say those examples are the upper limit here. See what others think. 
What resolution does he use?
I had a look at the 2600XT specs and if my source was correct it was a mid range card with a 128 bit memory interface. The rough equivalents I've mentioned are based more on performance to relative performance. I thought it might complicate things too much (for me) and possibly others if I tried to mirror specs; also bear in mind that architectures will have changed somewhat as well.
