thanks folks! we don't know yet, wont find out until week 21. still at week 12 :)

couldn't believe how much this little fella/lass was jumping around all over the place like a gymnast! literally bouncing all over the shop haha. quite an experience!

This still doesn't do the experience justice. If you've never seen one before, the nurse will actually show you all around the baby in semi-3D if you see what i mean. you see all angles, and the scanner goes right through the full thickness of the foetus, so you see all the insides. She was rattling her belly to get the baby to turn over to get a better view. Amazing!

Floods of happy tears from the lass of course :)

Yeh they upgraded their scanners in most wards not that long back. According to my folks their scans 20+ years ago were very blurry, just visible blobs basically. This scan is actually just a crappy one I shot from my iphone directly over the screen. The printed one is super sharp :)
