I currentley have a EVGA gtx570 SC card but i see on a certain retailer that it is curentley 287.00 which i think is a bit of a bargin.

Im looking to future proof my rig as i would like to get a 120hz monitor or 2 and maybe go 3d. I currentley have a 24inch 1080p monitor, but i suppose my main questions are:

Is 287.00 a good price?
Will i see much benefit with 2 cards at the moment?

I had 2x460 GTX sonic platinums on my 120hz monitor, which I sold and got a single 480GTX.

I have to say even though the benchmarks say I have really downgraded, the experience of single gpu is much better. 120hz is a bit too quick for the latency of SLI so you will notice dropped frames and micro stutter, my single gpu runs MUCH smoother IMO.

I would have but ive onlly just got the 570 so dont wanna take a loss by selling it

but thats the point you dont lose out!
have you registered your card with evga? if so you can step up to the new 590gtx when it arrives and you only pay the difference
ie you paid £290 for your 570 the new card costs £500
you would then only pay £210 and have the latest card!!:D
