Geil, used them countless times, they've allways been utterly bomb proof for me & have a good reputation for looking after there customers, should there be a problem in the lifetime of the product.

Both Manufacturers are good. But at that price, and with the slightly tighter timings, I'd personally go with the G.Skill.

Just running Photoshop (lots of stuff open at one time) other than that its general office stuff, online poker and general surfing. I do tend to have several progs open at one time so just thought go for 2 x 4Gb now and then im covered for almost anything really.

I noticed you already own an SSD, and my suggestion was going to be 'buy 4 Gb's now and an SSD'.

However, @ that price (£77), go for it :)

Yes I got my Crucial SSD a couple of days ago (itching too see it in action). Like you say, I think £77 is a good buy, just didnt know anything about G.Skill.

Thanks for your help mate, much appreciated :)

Yea both RMAs are based in taiwan, but both companies are brilliant, I've used them both plenty of times and never had any problems.

Both Geil and G Skill are my first choice.

I just bought the G.Skill as it looked a good deal and nice and tarty looking too:cool:

Thanks for al the imput and advice folks, can't wait to get building next week
