Yeah that lambo race was funny, I enjoyed that Suzuki great little car, so if I want to lend people my care do I just click share with friends?
I have few beasty cars if you want use them came with GT5 Special edition/

Its strange its always been there as an option but they have with the new update made it a seem like a new feature.

Its exactly the same as it used to be, before the 1.06 update, the share option has been there since the start - im a bit puzzled about whats new or updated about it as its listed as a New Feature in the update list

hehe i had to tune that little starbucks cappuchino lol, its proper usless lol - well when compared to the 856bhp GTR 07 and the RM corvette beast thats 905

now the new update adds ful gear setup, i can get them faster :D



you select the online/share option - you can only have 6 cars to share, but looks like you cant use them yourself.

You could share cars before now yeah but they weren't drivable by others on your friends list. That feature was just added today. But in the manual it clearly said you could continue using the cars even while shared, which doesn't actually seem to be the case.

I do wonder who designed that track, and if they've ever driven a car :mad: Some of it was good fun but some of the corners were awful.

The RX7 seasonal on a similar track was win however :D I nearly rolled it every lap at the first 180 degree corner in the top left of the circuit. I'm gunna jack up the suspension and try harder in a bit :cool::D
 
i used to set cars as online/share them thinking others would be able to use them - lol, no wonder, a mate at work got the game few months ago and i used to set a few cars online for him so he could use them, and he could never find them.
 
griffo - yeah after a few laps I got used to the track and it was pretty fun mostly, but I have to agree some of the corners (particularly those damn blind hills) are stupid.

Spinal - I always thought it was a bit of a stupid feature being able to share a car but only so it can be viewed but not used, especially given how you can't use the car yourself either.

edit: Forgot to mention, I just got 44k xp for 10 laps of this track in an F1 car that causes me serious strain because of how intense it is to drive and that took over 20 minutes to do. I get 40k xp from 3 laps of circuit de la sarthe in my awesome 787b stealth or the FGT which takes <10 minutes to do and isn't as stressful. I don't need the money either so.... yeah, think I might ditch these Ferrari challenges and just grind the circuit for a while to get level 30 heh.

Agree, it says when your in your garage, it has the option to share the car with friends, when they goto use it they get the option to borrow it, but you cant select any of the cars shared for you to race single player.
 
PD need to sort out a decent bug reporting system as I've just found a huge inaccuracy in the spec for the CLK-GTR (which is called both the CLK-GTR and CLK-LM in game, depending where you look)

They've cheated us of a whole litre :mad::mad::mad:

Also, why are "tigger" and "engine" censored in chat?

more to the point how did you find out tigger was censored LOL :D
 
Ok thats all the seasonal's up to date the rx7 one was major fun. but ultimately still did them all first attempt .

The new power limiter is rather interesting drop the X2010 down to 700bhp and it behaves like a super handling FGT also tops out at 221MPH.
 
lol the censoring in chat is just downright ludicrous. Filtering is censored too (apparently tering is a swearword in... dutch? Or some other language), along with various other absolutely idiotic words. Assassin's Creed is censored because it contains 'ass' ffs. It's so silly it's funny heh.

edit: The power limiter is one of the best features they've introduced imo. Not being able to enter a competition because your car is slightly too powerful is v.annoying.

I tried to work around it by replacing "tigger" with "trigger" but that was censored too.

But why would they censor a word that is short hand for Asinus? (Ass = Asinus = Donkey)

It seems more reasonable to censor the word Assassinate because it's violent :rolleyes:

It's the old "no sex but murder is ok" syndrome.
 
Go to the "Profile tab" on the left of the "GT Life" screen, click a friends name, see if they got any cars to borrow, go click on one, borrow it, use it in only A-Spec or B-Spec I think.
