It's a torx.

Having seen the picture it's a hex, use an allen key.

Yes, that would appear to be a Torx, although it seems someone has attempted to have a go at it with something other than a Torx screwdriver already...

Button head socket cap screw, and you need an allen key for it, not torx.

Nope, not a torq I'm afraid, it's a hex head, these are usually metric now (eg M5, M6, etc).
