Funny how on Metacritic there are more 90% reviews than anything else, yet tons of 0..4/10 user reviews.

I paid £40 for the deluxe version since I'm a hardcore Civ fan.
Wast worth that much, £20 with all the currently available DLC content would have been worth it.
I'm waiting for the next patch now before starting another game. I paid full price for all the Civ 4 games and expansions and used to pretty much play it non stop. This time around Anno 1404 has Civ V completely beaten in terms of fun, addiction and great strategy gameplay.

I bought the Civ 4 complete pack for a fiver a few months back.. Might get Civ 5 while its cheap though, once its patched up properly it should be awesome!

I actually quite like it, but not as much as civ IV. Then again I didn't play civ IV until I had the BTS and warlords addons.
I'm sure as expansions come out for it more stuff will be added. Worst things about civ V at the moment is the ridiculous end turn loading times near the end of the game on big maps and the ridiculously aggressive AI

But one of the major complaints is that the AI is terrible at making war
So aggressive + bad at fighting = useless AI
And apparently it sucks at base building too, ignoring resources and stuff.That Link is pretty useless

I'm sorry to ruin the game but one of the best things about ending a game of CIV (since2) was a cool cut scene at the end. Civ 5 just says "Grats you won and scored 3492 points"

Dont forget about the Wonder movies.
In Civ 5 you get a bell chime and a picture when you complete a wonder. Lame!
Why should it make any difference because i live in guernsey
