FA Cup 5th Round Draw

Sell him to Chelsea for £50m , seems to work out quite well for the seller :)

Was genuinely hoping for that scenario (or any club offering over £30million) when he handed in the transfer request.

So far his decision to stay (and up his wages), combined with his dreadfully amateur performances has been nothing more than infuriating to me.

Did anyone else get the impression Rooney had no idea he was playing today and had a few too many drinks with his lunch or something. He was shockingly bad, even for an off form Rooney, made no attempt to run himself into the game as he normally does, his passing was worse than normal and he's not the best passer to begin with, one half shot was his only contribution, and a daft yellow card.

Not a great game from either side, Crawley really created very few real chances, then again, Utd were the same. Never really felt like a goal was coming at either end throughout.

And how much did you pay for Lescott, Adebayor, Bridge, SWP, Santa Cruz etc etc etc?
I was comparing two right/left wingers? Why bring up other players?
If you need to know, 24m, 25m, 12m, free then 8m (sold for 21m) and finally 18m. Terrible buys by a terrible manager.
On the subject of 'bad' buys how about the 25m+ for Veron? 18m for Carrick?

And what did we pay for Vidic, Hernandez, Evra etc?

There is bad and good buys everywhere, pointless picking out a couple.
