You have one cheat meal a year?

I can't remember the brand name of the steak and onion pie that I got on offer for £1 from Co-op but it was awesome, think pastry with decent filling, tasted great! It had black packaging.

The single best pies out there anre the Asda Steak and Cheese. 2 types of meat! Steak and yellow. Awesome pies. I have one in the frig for tomorrow :D

bluggh supermarket read made pies are awfull.

better of making a leak and chicken pie.

Leaks and cubed chicken in butter, add your flour, then the milk, whilst whisking to form a white sauce. Add seasoning and a touch of English mustard. Throw into a bowl and add some filo or puff pastry crust. 20-30mins in the oven. so easy and wont take any longer than 45 mins.

Thanks Tefal, unfortunately beef pies can't be done fast need a lot of braising time in the gravy. About to go out so can;t add full recipes. But here's a previous one.
Steak and pickled onion pie (sounds odd, but trust me it;s great)

Lamb and Stilton pie is also awesome, but seems I didn't post that one.

bookmarked and that'll be the next pie :p

Of course any will do.

Hmm wasn't so keen on the pickled onions eggs I saw in the supermarket so will have to do with normal onions, no thyme either so will have to try again in a few days, can't really make the pie without it imo.
