Will this RAM be ok with this motherboard?

I'm about to order a new board, CPU and ram and wondering if it's compatible?

G.skill ripjawsx (2x4gb) ddr3 pc3-12800c9 1600mhz

Asus p8p67

Do I just set set the volts to 1.5v in the bios and the timings to 9-9-9-24?

Its compatible, the motherboard should just read the SPD settings and set it right itself.

In the bios it will let you select the 1600mhz and you can also set the voltage manually 1.5 so should work no troubles.

I was going to get the corsair vengeance ram until I see the gskill ones at the today only price, would the corsair be noticeably better?

I bought the G.Skill one's today at £77.99 they are good value too! I also have the P8P67 on its way and the chap at overclocker told me they would be fine.
