Hi there, just curious about how many xbox 360 consoles theres been and how many xbox models are available now? Am sure there's been like 5 models of the old white xbox with slight internal upgrades and also then there was the xbox elite and now the slim?

Can anyone list all the models for me?

Also you know the new slim? Does that replace the xbox elite, the old xbox elite, like is the slim basically the new xbox elite but better? Coz the slim is the latest one isn't it so am guessing has the most upgrades and most new features out of any xbox that ever came out?

Also do new slims brake still like old xbox's? I have an old white xbox, first one that ever came out, 7 years old and just died couple of days ago.

Have microsoft upgraded the fans and cooling in these new slims and are they better with not over-heating or failing/braking etc?

Also can anyone list the features in the new slim? Like the full spec? when I search online I find partial specs, but dont really give me the full details of the console on websites that sell them, they just say the basics.

Thanks in advance.

Just been reading about the old models on wikipedia for last 10 minutes, but not found the full spec as of yet.

Do you know if the graphics card is any better on the new slim and what it compares to in terms of graphics on the PC?

Graphics are the same all round. Also what PC?

doesnt matter really, any £500 home build machine is going to have more graphics power than the Xbox 360, but thats not the point.

The tech is something like 3 or 4 iterations of ATI tech behind isn't it?. SO Radeon HD4XXX series onwards use newer tech.

Depends on how you look at it though. The 360 can do plenty more with the hardware compared to any PC though that can be said for most if not all modern consoles. Your spot on though hardware is an irrelevance.

As far as the iterations of the ati cards im sure the new models integrate the graphics with the cpu or something along those lines.

half of the problem with a PC is just that - its a PC.

Watch what ATI hardware can do on a mac to observe how much windows can weigh hardware down. In many ways the mac mirrors the Xbox, closed platform, walled garden and all that.
