Fastest mobo for i7 ?

My mobo EX58-UD5 has been such a disappointment, I bought it just before the revised version came out and its got such a delay at start up with no quick boot option.

Is there a decent mobo out there that doesn't detect drivers on every start up and just boot up the ssd quickly. It bugs me that I can't just tell the bios that I have 1 hardrive in sata 1, dvdrw 2 and 1 pci graphics etc, stop checking for others . . . and delaying my start up!

Any recommendation?

is it really that much of a big deal ?
sub 25 seconds too long to wait ?

Use sleep. The mobo never completely powers off so no POST required
