My friend is looking for a new graphics card which is around the £50 - £60 mark and is plays games now and then such as Guildwars, CoD, WoW etc

He wants something that will be able to cope with these games on around medium - high settings.

He's not a heavy gamer but uses his computer a lot.

Thanks

Aye if he wants to buy new then the 5670 seems like the best option atm, if he doesn't mind 2nd hand then GTX 260s are pretty good value these days.

Could get a second hand 8800gtx. I sold mine for 35 quid with lifetime warrenty EVGA.

Bargain at that price if you ask me.

How about any of these ? Also what's the rest of the pc's specs and what resolution will be used ?

BTW,what PSU does the system have??

The HD5670 is a bus powered card and will be less taxing on a lower wattage PSU.

There is also the 9800GT Green Edition GDDR3 for around £60 to £70 which is a faster card than an HD5670. This is also bus powered.
