Send the customer support an email about it and then they will tell you what to do and they might even give you a new keyboard.
Go to Logitech support, you will either get a new KB or a 50% off anything in their store voucher.
Not meaning to rain on the situation... But it sounds like the problem was your own fault (leaning over to it at a funny angle (that could cause adverse pressure) that caused the USB connector to bend in the USB port (damaging the USB port in the process) and the USB connector to separate from the cable (if I've read the email you sent right)), rather than a fault of the product.
Logitech CS is second to none. I spilt beer for the second time over my G15 v1.
After a botched attempt to strip it and try and clean it was clear that certain keys were gubbed and another keyboard was needing to be purchased.
However reading on here about their great customer service, I decided to make a chance phone call pretending to enquire about a repair and its costs. Before I knew it they were arranging a brand new G15v2 to be sent out the following day without cost and that was with a keyboard out of warranty.
I'm not saying this will happen to you but I would definitely pick up the phone to them and see what happens!.

Be prepared to show some form of proof of purchase, they seemed mighty fussy when I tried to get a Logitech keyboard replaced that decided to not work. I told them I got it from Ebay brand new, and they refused to help me. Didn't seem that friendly either to be honest.
