CM Storm HS-M Battle Pad SSK + Sentinel mouse

Hi guys

I purchased both a

CM Storm HS-M Battle Pad SSK - Hard Surface - 350mm x 260mm x 4mm; and a
Sentinel Coolermater mouse

and I am having massive issues. Basically, the mouse works better on my table than on the £30 mousemat! What's up with that?!

Has anyone has any experience of either product? It cannot need switching on - it's a mousemat haha
