Test Drive 2 has been released & is available to download on steam

How to do unlock/find the special cars like the 2CV and the Buggy?

I've completed the photo task on Ibiza, and got nothing extra other than £50k :( And also thought that I had found all the wrecks on Ibiza as well.

There are wrecks to find on Oahu/Hawaii too. You'll get the 2CV from the Oahu wrecks. Once you've found ten the reward car should be in the Used Car Dealership. The Buggy and VW Beetle should be in the Used Car Dealership on Ibiza if you've found all 20 wrecks there.

The in-game wreck finding device will tell you if you've already found the wreck when you drive up to one, but other than that the only other thing I know of which helps you find wrecks are the maps of Ibiza and Oahu which someone made on Google Maps. They put markers on to show where wrecks, challenges, dealerships etc. are.

It's a few pages back iirc, I'd post the links again but I'm on my iPhone at the moment.

The ibiza map is - http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msa=0&msid=212344039743811741854.00049bb0c5e0ad9d7e4b3

Didn't realise there was a Oahu map? Could someone post a link?

Bah, I just got on my PC and was ready to post the links.

Glad you found them, though. I think I need to have a look at them as well, certain things are amiss.

You managed to get on tonight ;)

Great cruising around with you guys was good fun, hopefully some more of us can meet up and we can have a more organised cruise :p

Yea was a fluke that i got online, but once online it was stable at least - was fun, apart from the May comment :( not my fault i was in the wrong car for the hilly roads lol

I was following the Oahu map to find the wrecked cars there and I only seem to have found half of them and I've been to every one of that map, haven't got a single reward car yet for Oahu, 5/10 for both. I'm guessing the map needs updating or something.

Turns out there are also 9 race tracks on Oahu too.

this guy has videos of where all the wrecks are... :)

Can anyone help me configure my ports to allow me to connect fully to the game? I recently switched to Be internet and I hate their dumbed down router menu. I'm used to netgear :( I've tried opening port 8889 but I must have done it wrong as I'm still getting NAT type strict symmetric in red on the TDU2 launcher.

Here's a pic of my current router settings:

If your Netgear supports ADSL2+ then I would change to that.

On the other hand, go to "Assign a game or application to a local network device" and assign the TDU2 profile to your PC.

*Edit* - You want 2 TDU2 profiles;

One with TCP/UDP (Both) 8889 - Fill all boxes with this port.

Another with TCP/UDP (Both) 3478 - Again fill all boxes with the port number.

Then follow the steps at start of my post for each profile.

Or enable uPnP.

You might find you need a static IP also. You can get a utility to set a static IP and also check the ports are forwarding correctly at http://portforward.com/

My NAT was still blocked even after doing all this, but today it has finally started working (green, full cone). But the servers are down :D

The UpLauncher changes my network status almost every time I start the game and I've decided just to ignore it because it's never really effected my ability to connect to people. Sometime's it'll be Strict:Symmetric and other times it'll be Open:FullCone or whatever they are but I always end up connected to people and I'm always able to go into the casino, etc.

Apart from now, but I don't think anyone can connect to anything :p
