Test Drive 2 has been released & is available to download on steam

Can anyone help me configure my ports to allow me to connect fully to the game? I recently switched to Be internet and I hate their dumbed down router menu. I'm used to netgear :( I've tried opening port 8889 but I must have done it wrong as I'm still getting NAT type strict symmetric in red on the TDU2 launcher.

Here's a pic of my current router settings:

Right o i can help,

You need to go on the "be" website log into the forum, it has a new firmware version, sorts it out in one easy flash.

Just to add, the new flash has sorted out loads of issues with that router so if you have one get it flashed

Absolutely shocking production on this game!!!

I managed a quick go the other night after being originally disappointed and found l liked it so decided to have a proper blast........only to find I cant even connect!
I wouldnt mind so much except there isnt even a "Quit" option when you cant connect - you just keep looping and have to ctrl/alt/del and abort the game!?!?!

Very disappointed with this so far!

after awhile it says it cant connect

Screw the whole thing. I'm not sitting around all evening trying to connect to a server. I've had time to plot a map to show where I've taken 100s of photographs in between clicking "Start" so many times.

I'm giving in and going on Counter Strike Source for the first time in 10 days, against my own will.

The servers are down, they are fixing some exploits..

it sucks, but hopefully it will be sorted soon.

Btw on the start screen you can simply alt+F4 to quit the game.

I'm going to upload a video to YouTube of my latest Test Drive Unlimited 2 gameplay.

Should be a laugh when the comments start rolling in.

If your Netgear supports ADSL2+ then I would change to that.

On the other hand, go to "Assign a game or application to a local network device" and assign the TDU2 profile to your PC.

*Edit* - You want 2 TDU2 profiles;

One with TCP/UDP (Both) 8889 - Fill all boxes with this port.

Another with TCP/UDP (Both) 3478 - Again fill all boxes with the port number.

Then follow the steps at start of my post for each profile.

Or enable uPnP.

Thanks guys. I flashed the firmware on the BeBox, created the profiles and enabled uPnP and now Im getting NAT open:fullcone :)

....but I cant log in now...I'm gonna put this down to Atari's incompetence and not mine this time :P
