Cost of tumour killing liquid

i wish this treatment will be/was offered to my brother

Can't afford it mate unfortunately. We're too busy paying for treatment for those who have smoking related illnesses and giving prisoners a variety of luxuries including allowing those who don't value life the ability to enjoy theirs at the tax payers expense.

I'd say that's crazy/ridiculous/absurd/atrocious etc etc, but many liberals would disagree and say all life is valuable and you can't take that away from anyone.

Yet they're happy to take away the money for the innocent victims or terminal illness and let the murderers use it to stay alive...

Sorry...way too political up in here....

So how much is it?

Ok, no cookies, sorry. :p

It's sixteen grand the NHS pay for, for just two spoonfuls of liquid.

She had a patient with a tumour or tumours. She said this liquid is normally used as a last resort for people that really don't want the discomfort of chemo. The liquid completely destroyed the tumour very fast. She said the prohibitive cost was mostly due to the the research that goes into it.

I'd go for like a grand.
But thinking about it, for a few ml of something that is a stupid amount of money.

If it actually works though I would pay quite a few grand to kill off a life threatening tumor instead of chemo.

Meh, cancer is just natural selection, we shouldn't really be spending money to fight it - only money on an actual day 1 cure.

I've told my wife if I ever get cancer I'm not going to accept any treatment other than painkillers - I'll just let it take me in it's own time.

Not sure you'll stick by your words if you ever did God forbid get cancer. :p

I'm surprised that they have not found a solution by now. Guess this thread shows that for the medical companies there really is no incentive what so ever.
