HS1 or HS1A?

I cant decide between the two.

I do have a sound card, but its only an Audigy. Will i get better sound quality with a HS1 and its built in USB soundcard, or HS1A with my Audigy?

Well, i have settings for 5.1 or 7.1, if thats the equivalent?

I've got the HS1A and it's great paired with my Asus Xonar D2. Have heard of a lot of problems with the USB version. A quick search on google should reveal a few things.
