bioshock 2 whats it worth?

i havent played 1 but ive seen it on sale for £5, i picked up metro for 6.99 over xmas and thats been fab so has HL2 for a couple of quid.

yay or nay?

Just kidding it's not that bad, just nowhere near as good as Bioshock 1 in my opinion. For a fiver go for it.

Loved it from start to finish, just like bioshock 1 with different plasmids. Lots of people hate it, i think they just want bioshock 1 released over and over again. Same style quirky enemys and story, same scenery/locations graphics are slightly better. Only 1 thing i didnt really like and that is the little mini games to hacks vending machines/cameras/turrets, its just a crappy click when the needle is in the green zone where bioshock 1 had the pipe building mini game which was half decent!

I doubt three hours. Maybe if you were doing a speed run...

Steam says I spent 15 hours on it in total. I've only played through it once, but I took my time to find all the little areas.

Playing through this atm. I really liked the original; this one is more of the same but not as good. Well worth the £7.50 or w/e it was I paid though, £5 is a bargain - grab it!

Definitely much longer than three hours if you play it normally too.

Actually the reason myself and many others hate it is because it IS Bioshock 1 released again with different plasmids and a silly Visor, there is next to no change in gameplay and not a single interesting character.

It exists purely as a developer cash in.

Its a reasonably long game. I couldnt give you exact numbers but I would say my game was >10 hours for sure. I can't see any way to do it in 2-3.

If you played Bioshock 1, imagine stripping all the story out of that but slightly enhancing the combat and you get Bioshock 2. If you like the sound of that then go for it. Frankly for a fiver you can't really go wrong.
