Unfortunatly he was going to have to spend £40k probably more to go any futher. Bit of a shame as i would have thought a lot of people reading that thread would have donated some money to help towards it.

Looks like it is somewhere in the UK as Nazi's only occupied and fortified Guernsey, Jersey and Alderney, plus the Mazda is right hand drive and I doubt Alderney would have many MX5's. Very likely to be Jersey - I haven't seen anything on the local news for Guernsey.

If it's bunkers you're after then it's the Mirus Battery in Guernsey you're after. My mate has one of these in his back garden that he rents out to local airsoft gamers (which is a right laugh!)

Reclaimed Russian naval guns with enough power to easily reach UK mainland.

Another of my friend has a nazi lookout tower in his back garden.

There are a lot of amazing examples locally.

I know quite a few people that have 'memorabilia' from the war
