Nazi Bunker

I remember this, god was it almost 3 years ago already. Guy probably disappeared because it ended up being nothing special and he didnt want to say so.

The oddities of the "historian" bit, is the lack of details, no mention of names etc and the way the ending is left with a dramatic cliff hanger ending discussing the docs but not mentioning anything about them. I may be cycnical, but it smacks to me of embellishment and I suspect it simply ended up being nothing more than an air raid shelter or some such, but after getting so much coverage and following he didnt want to end up saying so and instead just stopped and thats why its not been updated for over 18months.

anything of value inside would have been long gone anyway , porbably ended up beeing nothing but a big tunnel.

where i grew up in nottingham there were loads of artificial hills around an airbase near a rolls royce factory that had bunkers inside them , pretty much a small bunker on each side of the airfield.

most still had chairs and other useless junk inside.

most people probably have underground bunkers near them but just dont know because they never explored much as teenagers

I just spent about 2 hours reading that lol. I enjoyed it anyway.

Unfortunatly he was going to have to spend £40k probably more to go any futher. Bit of a shame as i would have thought a lot of people reading that thread would have donated some money to help towards it.

What the heck does he need £40k for?

Looks like it is somewhere in the UK as Nazi's only occupied and fortified Guernsey, Jersey and Alderney, plus the Mazda is right hand drive and I doubt Alderney would have many MX5's. Very likely to be Jersey - I haven't seen anything on the local news for Guernsey.

Reclaimed Russian naval guns with enough power to easily reach UK mainland.

Sorry but no chance of that range from Guernsey, Calais definately however.:p
