Hello,

KFA2-GeForce-GTX-480-Anarchy-review.jpg

I originally was going to buy a stock GTX 580 and attach either the Arctic Cooling Xtreme Plus or the new Thermalright Shaman.
Is not the over clocking potential I want, its the silence like the rest of my pc.

Then i see the KFA2 GTX 580 Anarchy Edition on the main rivals website (pic above)

1) I just wanted the know if overclockers will be getting this card or something similar because I would rather purchase it from you <--- GIBBO LOOK HERE !!!

2) and also if that cooler on it is just a modded Xtreme Plus because i can't find any info on it to say that it is

If it is that would be nice because it would save me the hassel of doing it myself, it would be cheaper but most importantly i would not have to void the warranty to get what i want

Any help would be appreciated.
Thankyou

I have but the 3GB of memory would be a waste for 1080 or even 1200 res, it costs approx £100+ more than the stock GTX 580 and even the 580 Anarchy Edition. and the cooler is not as silent as what I am after from reading various reviews

But Thankyou

Here is the review that I found comparing the Gainwood Phantom and the Asus DirectCU II which was very tempting to get when it was on its 1 day offer but i don't get paid until this friday

Have you actually heard a 580 running? The only reason I ask is because I've personally found them fairly quiet with the stock cooler.

I have the GTX 480 Anarchy from KFA2.

I can confirm that when you set the fan speed to 30% in Afterburner the card is SILENT, and I have never seen it go above 60 degrees during gaming.

Remember this is a triple slot size card so going SLI in the future (should you ever want to) can be a problem.

This! The GTX580 actually runs quite cool and remains quiet most of the time. I'd only get the aftermarket cooler if you weren't happy with a reference card.

No i am not going to sli in the future (more heat and more noise, experience with both and more likely to have driver trouble) so 3 or 4 slots does not bother me

I wish graphics cards were more like cpu's where you can buy them oem cheaper and then a better range of coolers for them to buy.

I think the cheapest option is to probably buy the GTX 580 Anarchy Edition then if it is silent
Do you know who i can an ask if overclockers will stock it

otherwise its a stock cooler and aftermarket cooler at a later date.

thanks for the help

I'm sure Gibbo will b along soon to tell you he just ordered 500!!!
TBH, If you really want it, start a thread with the title: GIBBO LOOK HERE!!!
That should grab his attention!

FYI Gibbo is the stockist manager thingy for OcUK

I haven't order it yet but I am going to within the next month or so with a new monitor.
So hopefully overclockers will stock it or something similar within that time.

But thank you for the advice, I didn't know that
Shame you can't change thread titles

if he did he might find that he won't be able to sell them all till the next gen cards show up
surprisingly £400+ cards don't sell so much

I got sent this card as an rma from kfa2 but it was too large for my matx case (had the reference design before) so had to sell it.. was looking forward to it as well.

I sold it to .Ox. on the mm, maybe he can give his opinion if he sees this.
