Old Council to the Undying Kings - The home of OcUK in Middle Earth!

Hello!

I'm well aware we have a few LOTRO F2P threads dotted around but as of yet there is no official Kinship thread. At present we're competing with 2 other MMO's in Rift and Wow: Cata and although the Kin has small, but regular numbers of members we're always looking for more OcUK'ers to join us. The kin has been active for around 9 months now, having been set up shortly after the Lifetime offer last summer. We currently have over 70 registered members (including some alts) that stetch back to that date.

If you're not sure about a monthly fee or buying a new game at present it's well worth giving the game and our Kinship a look.

We play on the Laurelin(RP) server however do not force players within the kin to be roleplayers. All we ask is that people within the Kinship respect the right of others to do so and treat other players in game as they would treat (most) of the people on these forums. Our (seldom used) Kinship website can be found at http://ocuk.mmoguildsites.com/.

The current structure within the kin is as follows:

Leader:
Cholthalion - KaylanCloud

Officers:
Amdeal - m0r94n
Feliz
Caldir - Sleepery

Inactive Officers:
Ellasil - FrenchTart
Toneh - Toneh
Ragu - Frapple
Cwyngael - Deadbeat
Chump - No1newts

At present recruitment is open to members of OcUK and friends of members, however we may look to extending invitations to the player base after an application process. Anyone interested in becoming an Officer should send an in game tell to either myself or Chlothalion.

Kinship House:
Located at -7 Fairwood Lane
Sirith Ninglyr, Falathlorn Homesteads
(NE Celdondim, SW Needlehole)

At present we're looking to recruit and confirm any activity in regards to inactive members. Further down the line we will be looking to do weekly events (likely skirmishes) with an eventual focus on endgame content and some PvP raiding in the Ettenmoors.

So, if you're interested in signing up to the kinship either post in the thread or send one of the officers a tell in-game. We'll try to get back to you asap. Over the coming weekends some of the kin members including myself will be on hand to help anyone thinking of playing the game. This extends to current kin members at low levels too, so if anyone is finding difficulty with any aspect of the game do feel free to ask in the Kinship chat (/k) or via a tell.

I joined the Kinship a few weeks ago when i started on lotro. Found m0r94n very helpful, always willing to answer any questions and help out anyway he can.

Would be great to get a few more lower level chars in there (I'm currently a 25 lme)

I've been mucking around with a load of different low level alts. I'm sure I'll get bored and start back with Caldir again soon :)

ive been unable to join the kinship for a while now, whenever ive been logged in no one is online, are people logging on a bit more often nowadays? :)

I'm on most evenings as either Amdeal or Eldeal, Feliz is often about too either as Feliz or Vindyamriel. I'll try to be on between 7 and 9 tonight if you can make that, though I'm usually logged on in some form until 1amish, even if I'm afk :D.

Edit: May be later as I have to stay on at work.

I play lotro and have a couple of alts on Laurelin, one has a Kinship already but I could get the other one in if you want him?
