Hi!

I have an XSPC RS360 radiator and am wondering what would be the best 120mm fans in terms of price/performance and silence to attach to the XSPC?

The RS360 is fairly thin and is attached to the roof of my TJ07.

Many thanks in advance

Tom

I'm using 6 sharkoon silent eagles in push/pull on a PA120.3.
Pretty much silent and great airflow, highly recommended.

I needed something pretty silent for mine (wife moans about the noise of my PC compared to her iMAC).

I would highly recommend the Cooler Master Turbine Master fans. 13.5 decibel high flow fans... amazingly quiet for the amount of air they push through. I have two of them running on my pc.. one on the rad for my H50 cooler.. the other as an exhaust on the side of my Gladiator600 case..

Looking at the coolermaster ones you have stated im not to sure how good they would be with a RAD?

Im currently using 38mm yate loons only cost me £5 and are silent.

the coolermaster fans have a removable "nose cone" for the centre of the fan as you can see on the picture I linked earlier.. I have one on my H50 rad and it works great.. temps are down an extra 4 or 5 degrees on the stock H50 fan... just have to make sure you use without the nose cone.

As the fan has no surround the blades are open.. my fan is between my case and rad so nothing will get in its way... I would be careful about having one on the other side... with wiring around...

If your case is pretty neat and you have things cable tied... it shouldn't be an issue.

Scythe Gentle Typhoons 1150 / 1450 / 1850 rpm are very highly rated for rads

good static pressure and have a great noise to airlow ratio

there's a pretty good review on this on the net, regarding radiators:
1. Scythe Gentle Typhoons 1850 are the best. But pricey.

2. In second place came the silent eagle 2000, slightly less CFM and more noise, but a lot cheaper! I run these and they're great!
