Hello all,

Looking at getting a TV wall mounting bracket, after searching online it seems that these online companies are very hit and miss (mostly miss)

Any recommendations?

I've browsed the FAQ and the OCUK website any can't find anything in regards to this breaking forum rules. If so please delete

Got my tilting bracket for my 50" for about £18 I think from someone on Amazon.

I remember I paid £30 in total for the tv bracket and 5 x speaker wall mount brackets for my surround sound.

Has all been up since November and bracket was easy to put up.

Some pricey ones out there for sure but I can highly recommend my Vogels cantilever. Absolutely rock solid and so easy to tilt, swivel and pull outward from the wall. Very well engineered.

Bought my bracket from avsupports to mount my Kuro a few years back. There was no way in hell was I going to fork out good money for a TV to then go out and buy a a cheap £10 bracket. I think I paid something like £35 -£40 for my bracket (that's is still cheap). I'd definitely think about paying a little extra to get a good bracket. It'd be silly paying good money for a TV to only have it hanging off £10 bracket.

Peace of mind.

Then again it's also silly to pay the extra when not needed; Find cheapish bracket that supports the size/weight needed, check the companiess/sellers and items rep online, order, sit back happy that you haven't paid twice as much for the same item elsewhere.

I'd never hang my £3k TV off a £10 bracket.
But why?!? Each bracket sold has a stated load it can support which you will find your screen is a least half that weight (if buying the correct sized bracket). That plus the correct wall fittings means your screen (be it £100 or £3000) will hang off it without fear of it falling to the ground. (Assuming legit company/item)

The amount you pay will not alter the physics of said bracket.

Don't tell me you are also using £100 HDMI cables? :p

Like I say, I'd never recommend skimping on a good quality wall bracket. If you prefer skimp like that, after forking out hundreds, sometimes thousands, then so be it. I certainly wouldn't.

No I don't buy £100 HDMI cables, don't be daft.

It's a metal bracket!

They're all TUV approved, they've been tested and approved. A steel bracket is a steel bracket.

There's much more to be concerned about regarding the wall you're screwing it into.

amazon, cheap as chips. get one rated appropriately (ie, 20kg heavier than the tv going on it, for example) and it'll see you right.

no need to go out and spend 4x times as much on the same bracket.
