Hi,

Unfortunately I have a funeral to attend in the near future but I don't own anything appropriate to wear.
So, can anyone point me in the direction of where I can get a complete suit relatively inexpensively? (jacket, trousers, shirt, tie & shoes.)

I have heard that M&S 'off the peg' suits can be of good quality, is this true?

Thanks for any help.

Just wear dark trousers and a shirt, no ones going to mind.

Got a suit from Burton for £60 for whole set (tie + shirt + suit jacket + trousers), they were on sale here in Huddersfield however.

As for M&S Outlet.. around £30-£80 depending how lucky you are :P

Will you wear the suit again? 200 quid for suit, tie, shirt and shoes means that they will all be of very poor quality. If you're not going to wear them again you might be better hiring a nice suit and pocketing the change. Just an idea.

M&S £49.50. It's all I buy now. No suits ever last me more than a month so I just get cheap ones now. £300 shoes, £100 ties £70 shirts and £50 suits, simples.

I'm done with expensive 100% wool suits.

Not to derail but I find it incredible that a good quality suit is not lasting more than one month. It should last years!

Do you have an unusual job?

Sort of, but I just wear clothes out really quickly!

Asda George.

Trousers:- £16
Jacket:- £24
Shirt + tie = £9

Total = £49

Win!

Used mine for lots of Freemasons events - holding up well. Machine washable as well.

I have a dinner suit I got from Primark for £45 - that's doing fine as well but I have to dry clean that one.

M&S do a range of suits, from the cheapy cheap to the very expensive.

When I got a new job I went there with the intention of getting one for as cheap as possible, but once uve tried one of the nice ones on your want one.

Spent £200 for mine :o (yes first job out of uni and all) :)
