LG tv any good.

Well if there is a better tv we cant tell you where it is...so?

But yeh LG is a decent brand. I personally prefer a monitor and then a tv so i can for example be on my computer and then watch something on tv instead of switching between the two.

If you can stretch your budget a bit, I would have a google for the Samsing LE32C530. I believe this TV uses a VA panel - while the LG you link to only uses a TN, it is also a fair bit bigger.

If you can't stretch to the £280 for the Samsing LE32C530, then you will need to go with a TN panel TV. I don't think VA panel 1080p TVs go any cheaper than this.

For the ~£230 budget I would look for with either the Samsung B2430HD (~£230) or Samsung P2770HD (~£250). However, I would strongly suggest saving up the extra for the LE32C530- it is a whole lot more TV for £50 extra.

i bought the LE32C530 about 3 weeks ago and it is top notch. I would highly recommend it. Moving up from a 720p samsung tv to that was an unbelievable difference

edit- ok just read response

No but if necessary I will go for a monitor but it has to be 23" or under forgot to mention this sorry.

Ah, when you said "needs to be under" I thought you meant price constraint not size.

In this case I suggest looking at the Samsung B2330HD.

Will you be using the TV tuner of the TV much, or will you be mainly using it as a monitor?
