The *Official* Eve Online Thread

No idea - my first experience of the game was about the time when the rig changes came in and I didn't start playing properly until late 2009.

From looking it up online it seems originally all rigs were the same size and when they changed it to have 3 rig sizes (small, medium, large) the rigs already on BCs became large ones? for some random reason.
 
Was on earlier. Admiral Keyes is my character. I put the learning skills straight into Advanced Weapon Upgrades 5 and a few missile skills. I'd love to know why I trained Minmatar Carrier to level 5 all those years ago when I had no intention or means of getting one. :p

I was around when Rigs were in game. I did briefly return in 2008 but only stayed in game for a few days on one of those 5 days free emails.

Was quite happy to see that I left my account with some good stuff that I remember and that it is still quite valuable :) My Minmatar frieghter, Command Ship and HAC's mostly :)

I'm thinking of running some missions until I'm back used to playing again and building up a small pile of isk, then maybe moving to High Sec PvP. Not sure whether to try Factional Warfare or not. Has anyone got any experience of that, if so, is it any good?

High-sec PvP is pretty much non-existant to be honest buddy, bar joining a corp built around war deccing other corporations for PvP. Red v Blue are the ones that immediately come to mind.

Other than that, you are looking at heading into low-sec to get PvP. Factional warfare - can - be good, though my experiences with it tend to revolve around me killing them. If you care about your security status, faction warfare will be a better choice. Otherwise be a pirate!

Piracy is very fun if you do it right, I think you should look at Red v Blue for starters though as I hear they have a lot of newer pvper's in and such.

Not sure what I need to do now to fix it. Found a Minmatar agent in Amarr space that I can run missions for, should I just do these repeatedly?
 
Do you have your social skills up?

Can't remember which one it is but I was -5.something to Gallente, after I trained this skill it was at the high -1.something.
 
Few questions, how is eve lately? Thinking about coming back haven't played for many years, do we still have an OcUK corp?
