Nexus S plastic rim squeak, should I replace?

21 days ago I purchased a Nexus S on contract and I've recently noticed to upper half of the plastic rim is prone to squeaking if I put any pressure on it, which is more often than you might think considering thats where the volume rocker and power button is.

Would the Carphone Warehouse replace it for me? Has anyone heard of someone getting a successful replacement for poor build quality that has lead to squeaking?

If it was mine I would put a small dab of blue tak under it.

I must say there must be nothing more annoying than having a squeaky rim!

But as for the phone, I don't see why Cardboard Whorehouse wouldn't replace it for you.. they're not losing out are they, you're still keeping your contract, just requesting a replacement handset...

Worth a try anyway

If it’s really bugging you that much then you’ve got nothing to lose by asking for a replacement.
