Whats this to be used for? first comment is the motherboard is a high end crossfire jobbie, yet you have selected a Nvidia GPU.

the memory is twice as expensive as a standard 1600mhz 4GB kit, do you want ram rated to such a high speed? will you be overclocking this far?

thank you for you reply any suggestions on ram and mb options would be grate pc will be used for gaming and every day use will not be doing much overclocking if any as i am still learning thanks again

If I was buying all new kit I'd go sandy bridge, nearly the same price for more performance. Even in threaded apps 4 intel cores are on/nearly on par with the 6 AMD cores.

Well ram choice, get this - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-221-OC&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=1517

and a motherboard with SATA and USB3.0 features - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-283-GI&groupid=701&catid=1903&subcat=1782 its full size and in stock.

but a sandybridge build would be quicker.

thank very much apart from what you have pointed out dose the rest look ok

Yes, i was wondering why its so expensive? but then looked at all the water cooling gear and high end case, thats where most of the £££ have gone.

thanks for all you help have change cpu and mob to the ones you suggested and it has knocked the price down so that is good to is there much difference between i5 and i7 apart from price this will be my first water cooled pc wanted to stay away from the kits at wanted to go straight in at the deep end any suggestions on water cool set up ie best tubing and fitting size would like to use compression fittings as they look better

I know nothing about water cooling really, you would be better of asking in the Overclocking/cooling thread maybe.

Heres a comparision between the 2500K and the AMD 1090t cpu - http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/288?vs=146

this is 2500K vs 2600K - http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/288?vs=287
