Yes, I have.
AC xtreme 5870, You only need a couple of extra heatsinks for the vrm as the 5870 vrm's are different to the 6950's, and your good to go.
50c max in Kombuster @1g on the core!

Im pretty sure they do. I just looked at an un-boxing on youtube and they show the back plate

I've got a Revision B 6950 and the 6970 bios works no problem, although I just use the Shader Unlock, on stock volts 1.1v clocked up to 6970 speeds.
