ASUS to begin shipping motherboards with revised 'B3' P67 and H67 chipsets this week

Excellent it seems Asus are on the ball with this mess up,ive just registered my board with Asus, its only 4 days old aswell and i havent even setup my new build yet :)

I wonder if Asus will arrange a courier to pick up motherboard? and how long end users will have to wait for the B3 Rev boards to be delivered once Asus receive the faulty boards?

thats the question, Asus very silent in EU about they replacement program

I haven't yet bought a SB mobo, so I am really just waiting for the news that the new mobos are in store again.

This is good news though. I hope all you guys are lucky with your replacements!

Can't find my invoice anywhere!

You need an invoice when they come to drop off B3 and pick up the old one. Reckon they'll accept a printed one from my account/orders on here?

The only problem with the p8p67 is the sata ports right?

If so then I am would not want to send mine back at there are utilities that show if the ports are damaged.

I am more concerned about the 85 degrees hot that my cpu is at when only in the bios !!!!

my 2600k never got past 56C under full load, and im using Akasa Venom, which isn't best cooler around..
update bios to 1204 (dont touch 1305, it can brick your board, some ppl bricked they boards with this bios) )

Nice :D

Hopefully they're all quite close to releasing the new boards, and hopefully the various online retailers will make it clear which motherboards have the revised chip and which don't.

85°C?! You either don't have the heatsink seated correctly, or it's reading wrong/ Have you tried updating the BIOS?

So will they actually come to you and give you a new motherboard and take the old one?

How do I go about doing this?

And would this mean I would have to reinstall Windows 7 again or is it ok since it's the same motherboard model etc

Sent my board back to overclockers cause of a fault, overclockers has sent me an email sayin they have sent it back to asus. Just hopin that they send me one on the new b3 boards, fingers crossed
