I have heard a lot of rumors of these yet i don't see a thread on it? what news have people been hearing on the grapevine of life as I am tempted to upgrade from my 295 to one.

Its become increasingly harder to get information on upcoming graphic products from both AMD/ATI and nVidia these days, a lot of people just aren't being kept in the loop any more, hence the lack of posts on the subject from people like Charlie lately.

They dont like to say because eg. if nvidia say the 590's got 3GB DDR5 at 4800Mhz and a core speed of 2000Mhz! then ATI will tweak there card with 3GB DDR5 at 4900MHZ and a core speed of 2200Mhz! just so the ATI is on top, when they release its like the Scissor, Paper stone game. Silly but the competition between ATI and Nvidia is huge.
where as even if the ATI was faster I'd still stick with Nvidia. I am awaiting this card too! replacing my gtx 295

ATI have always had the proble of having way more clock cycles but Nvidia always beating them so don't just go off numbers
