Basically i'm just wondering if i can just change my motherboard, psu and cpu without having to change anything else?

my motherboard is currently a terrible "Packard Bell BV PT890-8237A"

The CPU is a e4400 and the PSU is only 300w so im guessing if i get a new mobo/cpu i'm going to need a slightly better psu.

My ram is Corsair 2gig DDR2 PC2-5300 which i can keep for now and upgrade later.

The GFX will also do me for now.

So would this be possible? If so what can i get that will support my current RAM and possible future upgrades? I'm looking to spend around £150-£200, really don't have much to spend. Thanks

EDIT: Would it just be better to get a little extra cash and buy the £350 prebuilt Gamer pc?

It maybe possible.

Does this packard bell system use a normal ATX size PSU? and not some odd type?

Do you have a copy of a operating system to do the re-install needed?

Ideally, as you are changing the heart of the pc, which needs different drivers, and driver cleaner programs aren't perfect.

Okay then I guess it would be easier for me to just get a little more cash for a low-end gaming system then. Thanks for the help :)
