I have a theory that it gives you better packs if you pay in coins as opposed to MS points. Now I could and probably am talking rubbish but every time I have bought something with MS Points I haven't had a single decent card. When I've bought packs with coins I've had a Dzeko and a David Silva, it might just be a huge coincidence though.

Btw Tim if you want a nice kit go and get Brondby's home and away, it's really nice but last time I checked it was crazy expensive. Also Seattle Sounders is a nice kit.
 
can someone help me please, what does it mean when you're looking at players to buy and some have a sort of "greyed out" name and score, and some have a full black name, rating and stats? thanks.

Grey = someone has applied temporary stat increases to them (dribbling, passing, shooting etc) pointless as theyll run out so don't pay anymore than a normal stat player.

Black = permanent stat increase. EA have released cards with stat increases if that player has performed this week in real life. E.g Hernandez of Man U may get a new updated card for scoring two yesterday. They're stupidly expensive though.
 
Ahh isn't Fifa marvellous! I am loving this game once again after 150+ games online purely by being West Ham every time. You will be amazed how many people insist on being Barca, Madrid, Chelsea, Inter etc even when you go with a 4 star team. Out of the last 10 games, I have lost once in normal time (against Chelsea when they scored in the last minute) and have won the 80%. Normally they quit when I go 1 or 2 up, it's quite pathetic really :)

I would tend to agree, granted I got Torres through a MSP pack, but atbthe same time, I bought a lot of them!

In 4 x cash packs (100k overall) last night Ingot Rooney, Vidiv and Dzeko, coincidence, perhaps, tempted to buy 4 more today, but we will see, maybe 2 cash, 2 MSP, see what happens!

cheers, I don't think i've seen a black one yet. What is the crack then with contract cards with greyed out stats? Can they be temporarily adjusted too?
 
Goddamnit. Got to a cup final and the guy had an amazing team, Ronaldo, Rooney, Drogba, Lampard etc I managed to score 1 past him with Helmes but he equalised and then scored the winner in the second half which was one of those bull**** goals where you go in to make a tackle and it bounces off you but still manages to go backwards past you and they just run onto it for a tap in. *sighs* Also for some reason his players were very fast and none of my quick players were quick at all, Marin and Blaszcykowski just felt incredibly slow so all of my moves had to come from passing through the middle.

I need a 4-1-2-1-2 Joachim Low and I need Klose with a decent amount of contracts. Also need Schweinsteiger or Diego for my CAM and Lahm for right back. I want Podolski but I don't know if you can convert an LF to a ST. Need another good CB as well.
