Everything about its clunky, especially the driving, i enjoyed its quirkinesss at forst, but it soon wears off.
It isn't the smoothest game but then again I believe that adds to it. In the end we can have every game aiming to be the smoothest game ever and feeling the same or we can have 'game' games, where they just make a game that is fun and not necessarily smooth. It's like playing a turn based RPG, you're not smoothly moving in real time but its a game mechanic and pacing tool.

Anyway I think its a great game, bit long winded but for a budget game it became a cult hit and pretty damn happy I chose to support it early on during its launch.

In Japan it retailed at full price, still worth the money if you ask me.

Indeed if there was a sequel it would be a day one purchase. The only doubt been how much further they can mine Twin Peaks... but theres certainly a lot of sources of inspiration out there that they can choose from.

I would try and mix the two. If you miss a deadline you can simply attend at the right time the next day. Try and do all thr side quests before the end of chapter 3 as you won't get chance again for quite a while.

I just finished it last night and man I was an emotional wreck.. both from the difficulty (on hard) and the storyline. Can't believe how much work they put in for the final acts, it beats nearly all "Triple AAA" games end content hands down.

Ok thanks for that, I'll get to playing all the side quests. Didn't realise you could miss a deadline and still do it the next day. That's good then :)

I've been thinking about this game again loads recently, so much so I rebought it for a tenner. This was my best game of 2010 and to be honest nothing in 2011 came close as the story and setting is just so good! I really, really hope they revisit this franchise again, especially after it sold so well for a budget game. There's rumours of a sequel and/or the original game with a hd upgrade. :D

The game is in HD anyway, it's the textures and animations that make it look aged, The work required to improve those wouldn't be worth it and the studio would be better off spending their time making a new game,

I believe swery said there wouldn't be a sequel to deadly premonition though and the studio is trying to find funding for a new game

Well last I heard a sequel or upgrade was on the cards. I wouldn't of thought it would be hard to find funding due to how lost cost it was relative to other releases and also the critical praise it got (who can forget the 10/10 review).

Anyways whatever Swery's next project is it's an instant pre order from me!!

Haha well people go about there business and there is time of day related tasks, there are no sailers however. :)

Just been doing a second play through and it's actually really good picking up things you miss the first time especially relating to the Raincoat Killer. Oh and it's a computer game with average graphics but.... Emily is still hot!!

Can't believe the difficulty achivements don't stack however :(
