His daring proposal: a tax of 1p per email!

No I wouldnt pay anything under his proposal as I don't use texts so I would vote in favour and maybe 5p a text would be a good idea.

I honestly would not mind if emails were taxed at one pence each. It's a surprisingly elegant solution to the spam problem too, while not breaking the banks of virtually every typical user. ISPs can easily monitor and bill users for their email.
