cousin in law screams 'paedo' at poor bloke :(

How do you definitely know that the security guard didnt touch her up in his office??

That's like saying how do you know that every individual that happened to be in the bank at the time of the robbery wasn't in on it.

Just because somebody infers you have done something doesn't mean you're guilty. The guilty until proven innocent mindset isn't a good one to have.

Personally I think it's more sad that people arn't willing to stand and bang, there have always been crazies but it seems like people just keep there heads down looking at the floor. Last time I was in London I had to brush past around 10 people who just ignored the plight of a young girl who was being harrassed by a spycho who I RNC'd. Although it was only after was I reminded by the girl herself that the youth if London like to carry knives.

You and Britboy must be best friends :p

its not that there are more low down child stealing and child abusing scumbags around these days, its media hype over the number caught. The numbers caught reflect a society having avenues that abused children and formerly abused now adults can report offences and action be taken.

The media play the numbers game without adding in the fact that most cases of abuse in the past went unreported due to stigma, fear and ignorance. Also a whole generaton of previously abused children who are now adults have added to the numbers of reported cases. Fair comment they should be reported but the media seem to cluster historical cases with current cases whenever they feature the subject making the problem seem more prevalent.

This all adds to paedo-hysteria for those who do not take the facts in real context.

What did the daughter say the security guy did exactly? Did she accuse him of something that set the mother off or did she just assume it all?

This is what I dont get, if you have posted the honest events, how did you come by this information if her mother and father are calling him and utter pedo?

There are 2 things wrong with this situation

1) Kids mother and father jumping to conclusions, getting all emotional.

2) Kid believing what parents say, if at first she was grateful for help, and then changed her mind and agreed with mothers random pedo accusation.

Argue with them, you might feel that you want to drop it, but don't. It is a long hard bloody unrewarding road telling people that they are wrong, but it must be done.

A test was carried out in a shopping centre were a young child pretended to be lost and stood near an escalator.
Out of 30 or 40 people that phone in to the shopping centre customers service the split between male and female was almost equal.
However, adults that approach the said ‘lost’ child were all women.
When the men asked why had they not approached the said child. All said the same thing, people will thing I am a pedo !
The social culture of stupid people seems to be the norm !

Lol wut?

i wasnt saying the guard was guilty at all, i just think that either the OP's story is complete rubbish, or there is more to it than meets the eye.

Who did he get the information from, and subsequently, who did they get the information from?

All this thread has taught me from reading OP's post is to not ever help a kid in trouble.

:(

People are quick to judge with this kind of thing, same with racism, if you start discussin ethnicity, in most contexts people will soon come to the conclusion you're racist when in actual fact your not at all.

Political correctness etc gone mad.

I saw a guy on a program last night with the England badge (3 lions) blurred out, I thought wtf?! It was a british program, aired on british TV, made no sense.
