This latest demo for the multiplayer portion of Crysis 2 will give you access to two maps (Skyline and Pier 17) and two of the game modes, Team Instant Action and Crash Site, as well as two maps,

The full version of Crysis 2’s multiplayer component will include “six intense, action-fueled gameplay modes: Instant Action, Team Instant Action, Crash Site, Capture the Relay, Extraction and Assault, set across 12 maps in Crytek’s visually stunning recreation of the Big Apple.”

Currently downloading it now.
Strangely it wasn't showing up on the market on my console but it's there if you go to xbox.com.

Thanks. Downloading now. I've only had my Xbox 2-3 weeks and the first thing I looked for was the Crysis 2 demo that had been removed:(

I couldn't find it via the dashboard either.

I played a game of it.
Changes I found:
Melee no longer kills instantly. I had max armour on when somebody tried to melee me and it didn't kill me. This could be due to max armour or maybe due to the fact it seems they've removed auto aim from melee. Either way it's an improvement.

It doesn't take as long to kill somebody.

I got killed a few times by a pistol. This suggests to me the pistol is now overpowered.

I'm going to download this when i get home and compare the PC version and the Xbox version.

After playing Battlefield Bad Company 2 it feels like your playing in a broom cupboard with the Crysis 2 demo

I will give it a try but not holding up much hope for it, the first one was interesting for about an hour before it became very samey.

I'm a retard. Is there anywhere I can download this from? I've been to Xbox.com and couldn't see it there, and I also couldn't find it on the console version of the marketplace either. :(

Cheers, was just away to ask for someone to post the link - couldn't find it!

The reason I couldn't find it was because I was unwittingly browsing the American marketplace and saw a Crysis 2 multiplayer demo which had been put up on "03/01/2011" which I just assumed to be the old demo. :p + :(

Hehe, has to be my biggest pet hate at the moment - different tech related stories or options based on geographical location.

Gizmodo comes to mind for trying to find a story on my phone that was being redirected to the UK version of the site that didn't post a story that the US site did when I was viewing it from my PC at work. It was about something a Kinect hack... why the hell is that US only news?

Ok, date formats are different but I wish one day it would be the cultural norm to adopt the YYYY/MM/DD format - it's how the time works :)
